L'Azionismo Viennese is a HNW act from Bergamo, Italy, started around the end of 2021 as an homage to the Wiener Aktionismus, a 20th century art movement that was actually never a group. Contemporary of Fluxus, if compared to happenings, Wiener Aktionismus performances took a step further, providing a more violent and profanatory approach, regarding topics like religion and sexuality. The aggressive walls of noise proposed by L'azionismo Viennese try to translate the ritualistic and erotic intentions of Hermann Nitsch pieces, providing a therapeutic and cathartic experience.
