"These 3 walls are rooted in what I call "fuzz noise" which simply is just harsh noise that exploits various aspects of fuzz. A sound most definitely influenced by The Rita (especially his very minimal works of the last few years), but also Richard Ramirez's work under projects like Fouke and An Innocent Young Throat Cutter.
Anyway, the first two tracks are definitely fuzzy and crunchy and crackly. The third wall is very much inspired by its title. I wanted it to sound airy and obscured and far away like when I would hear the interstate at night in my hometown. A thin haunted sort of humming. I am much more satisfied knowing that this album will be much more to my own liking."
"Interstate Town"
nothin
but the howling
the shrill screeching of the interstate
across on the opposite end of town
you can hear it
cuz fucknothing is happening in town
fucknothing has happened here in a long fuckin while
ever since before you were born
nobody's ever heard of you
and nobody's ever gonna hear bout you
for as long as you still smell corn
smell corn cookin
corn
corn coming out of your ass
out of your memory
little corn kernels shooting out your pitiful dick
every time you bust a nut
everytime you spill your load
corn
corn
lost your virginity in a cornfield
found out santa wasn't real in a cornfield
lost your two-bit god in a cornfield
nobody's heard of ya
and nobody's gonna hear of ya
as long as you can hear that dreaded interstate's
awful hollow and haunted screams
wherein only longing could live and die
where you will live and die
with cornfields and interstates
and a pitiful dick
